Elkhart Lake Barn

Available

This historic Wisconsin barn features a 40×60 hand-hewn oak frame with massive 10×10 posts, four rare full-length 60' beams, and original pole rafters that supported the structure for well over a century.

The barn has already been professionally dismantled and is now ready for purchase. The entire frame is currently stored at our Iowa facility where it can be cleaned, restored, and prepared for reconstruction.

In addition to the main frame, the structure included a large amount of reclaimable material including extra beams and logs from various additions and lower levels. These materials create opportunities for complementary structures such as a dovetail cabin, covered porch, or custom patio area designed to tie into the barn.

Research into the history of the property dates the barn and original house between 1855–1862. The land was originally owned by Christian Raab, a German immigrant and early land developer in the region.

Our traveling crew can reconstruct this structure anywhere in the United States either in its original form or as a fully custom modified design built around your vision.
